Topic: Is this a fake Victoria Secret body mist? HELP!
I bought a Victoria Secret Body Mist on Ebay, and recieved what I think is a fake?
It says "fragrance mist" - not body mist - on the bottle, and the bottle looks all wrong.
And the scent only contains vanilla and coconut, not also lilly of the valley as it`s supposed to.
The seller says that the bottle is the "new design", and that it`s not a fake. He says that this "new design" is what is being sold in the VS stores in the U.S.
Is my bottle fake or real?

Unfortunately they DO fake both VS and Bath and Body Works. I spended a half day yesterday reading about it. The fakes come from Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
And the Coconut Passion scent is new on the market, so it would be way to early to change both the scent and the bottle...

I can't be much of a help because I don't use VS pefumes, but can you just return it regardless, if you are not comfortable with it? Or maybe take it to the store and compare?

NOt fake. Just new packaging. I bought a lotion that has the new packaging from a seller that I trust. So you got the real thing.

I have a bottle of this that I recently bought and it looks different. I looked on their website and the bottle there still looks like mine. I am not sure if yours is a fake or not and I hate to say it is because I don't know....I do know my bottle is different and it contains lilly of the valley. The website does not say anything about reformulation and does not display the bottle you have. I will go into a store in the next few days and let you know what I find out. I would go today for you but there is not one in my town. Sorry!

The seller don`t do returns, and we don`t have VS in Sweden unfortunately.
I have emailed VS, just waiting for their respons now.

regardless if they take returns or not, i believe there is a spot on the original listing (over on the right )that is to report an item or a member. ebay will investigate if you believe the item counterfeit. hope this helps.

You can resize you photo a couple of ways.
1. If your computer has Paint Shop on it do this.... right click on your photo and in the pop up window select edit > Image > resize/skew then fill in the amount you want to resize by say 75%
2. Here is a site that will do them for you too

I still don't think its a fake. I looked at the back of the bottle that i have. and eveything seems legit. Vs and well as bbw change the bottles all the time and sometimes on test stores get them. Along with some scents. Maybe you should call and ask about the batch number that should be on the bottom of the bottle. But do what you feel is right.

It IS a fake, I`ve got it confirmed with Victoria Secret. They have NOT changed the bottle or scent.
I have reported the seller to ebay, and they have removed the sellers ads for this item.
Your bottle is for sure a fake too, if it looks like mine. I`m sorry to say...
I HATE liar-sellers on Ebay, they destroy for us all.

of course they fake VS. they are not availeble in sweden but if you see the MASSES of VS products on swedish ebay you´d be amazed. I also thought they only made copies of dior, chanel etc but no. everything that is popular and in demand gets knocked off. somebody gets them for nothing in asia and sells them where they are not availeble.

I have mailed VS a lot now in this issue, and they have told me this:
"The Coconut Passion fragrance collection is the same fragrance online, at the stores and through the catalog."
"[SIZE=2]Our Coconut Passion bottle design has not changed, as this item is new to the collection it has been the same since the launch of the product".
It IS a fake, and the seller is an a-hole.

Then the copy cats have been a bit TO fast to start to sell their new fake bottles - actually, they were so fast that they forgot to put the lily of the valley in the Coconut Passion one.

Hi there! I'm sorry but I think you got confused with victoria's secret "coconut passion body mist" and "coconut passion fragrance mist" because coconut passion fragrance mist really exists. You wanted to buy the body mist, instead you got the fragrance mist which I believe is not fake,or maybe I'm just wrong. Kindly check the link:
